There are a number of ways your family, community group, youth organisation, school or college can engage with the story of the Sir Samuel Kelly and her courageous crew.  Whether your passion is leadership, heroism, safety at sea, heritage, history, conservation or story-telling, you'll learn a lot. Join us if you love to explore, ask questions, use your imagination, hear great stories, dress up, improvise or write or draw. Spend time with us honouring the Donaghadee Lifeboat crew who rescued 33 of the 44 people who survived the January 1953 wreck in the Irish Sea.

Winter opening hours: Friday-Sunday 2pm-4pm.

Our practised storytellers can bring the 'Kelly experience to you. We customise our talks to meet the needs of schools and youth or community groups. People of all ages find that our dressing up box and props help them engage with the terrible events of 31 January 1953.
